Stephanie’s is the brainchild of Stephanie Whitlock, a La Jolla, California native. As a child, Stephanie made the first pair of pink Converse shoes by dying a white pair pink. In junior high school, she received the award of “Weirdest Shoes” for all her hand-crafted shoe “modifications”. After a brief stint in retail and a 12 year career in the wireless telecommunications industry, Stephanie sought to feed her desire to develop her creative and business skills collectively. Stephanie’s was born out of a true passion for shoes and a desire to have a fun business.
